My admin days are Thursdays. Your patience is much appreciated.

How long does it take per hair/makeup service?

Please allow 3 hours max for hair and makeup.

Am I able to use my phone during my appointment?

Using your phone constantly causes distruptions due to your head moving downwards unknowingly. This results in me asking you to move your head up every 5 seconds. This does not mean I will stop you from answering important calls, however please leave scrolling to after your appointment.

Do you recommend getting a lash lift/eyelash extensions?

I understand the convenience of getting eyelash extensions, however it limits my ability as your makeup artist to shape your eyes with shadow and customised individual lashes.

Lash lifts change the direction of your natural lashes, so when individual lashes are applied, they don’t sit flush against the lash line and can look uneven or lift prematurely. This affects the longevity and result of the overall glam. Because of this, only mascara will be appliedto complete your glam.

Can’t you just apply the fake individual lashes under my lashes? I have seen it everywhere on Instagram and TikTok.

Lashes are not applied underneath the natural lash line due to hygiene and infection risk. Even though the lash glue in my kit is latex free, you eye health is my priority.

I am unsure of what time I should book in, my event starts at 4pm.

Please factor in travelling time from my home studio to yours, plus getting changed and doing some last minute errands before you have to leave your house to the venue for 4pm. I would book in for 11am, finishing at 2pm (hair and makeup).

What should I do before my appointment?

Makeup- Please come with a clean and lightly moisturised face. I will start by skin prepping with my own products when you are seated.

Hair- Please wash and blow-dry your hair without conditioner the night before your appointment. Do not apply any styling product prior.

I am not sure if booking a makeup/hair trial is worth it?

Booking in a trial is highly recommended to ensure there is no hiccups on your special event/big day! All trials are to be done in my home studio. Please notify me if you are thinking of changing your hairstyle for your wedding day after the trial to ensure enough time is catered for.

How will I know when my booking is confirmed?

Once a 20% non-refundable booking fee is made and you have signed and returned the Booking Form (emailed to you after quoting), a confirmation email will be sent with some extra details about what to do next!
